- Verification Data: Short videos or photos used specifically for our AI-powered identity and "liveness" verification to prevent bots and impersonation.
- Location Data: We collect precise (GPS) and coarse location data to facilitate local tribes/islands, dating discovery, and proximity-based features.
- Financial Info: Information related to in-app purchases and subscriptions (processed securely via Google Play Billing).
- Device & Usage Data: IP address, device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, advertising ID (GAID), crash logs, and app usage patterns.
2. How We Use Information
We use the collected information for various purposes, including:
- To provide and maintain the Unimous social and dating platform.
- To verify your identity and age (ensuring a safe 18+ community).
- To personalize your experience (showing relevant islands and matches).
- To serve advertisements through our partners (AdMob, AppLovin, Meta).
- To facilitate audio communication via LiveKit.
- To monitor and analyze usage trends and app performance.

Our app is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If we discover a minor has accessed the platform, we will immediately delete their information and terminate their account.
8. Child Safety Standards
Unimous has a zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). We strictly prohibit the upload or sharing of CSAM and report any identified material to NCMEC and law enforcement.
